Located about 10 km (6.2 Miles) from Siena, La Gavina is a family-run organic farm and countryside Inn. The original medieval building, immersed in the green Siennese hills among oak woods, olive orchards and meadows, was renovated with the intention of maintaining the original architecture and character. The interior is decorated with typical rustic furniture and still maintains the flavour of the old country houses.

In the dining room, originally a hay barn, you can enjoy deliciously cooked meals prepared by expert hands in accord with the Tuscan home-cooking tradition.  

Two complimentary mountain bikes are available for guests that may wish to explore the surrounding area. Other available amenities include ping-pong and  fussball tables and a boccie field.

A swimming pool was built out of an old rain water cistern. Here you can refresh yourself during the warm summer months, sunbathe, read a book or simply relax in the silence of the nature.
