“It is dinner time...the countryside is immersed in silence, surrounded by the night... stories are told at the dinner table, old friends' laughter, the joy of making new friends. Lorena's hands still carrying the nice smell of the pasta dough...somebody peeks in the kitchen trying to capture some cooking secrets...in the meantime Sergio does the last touch-ups and the table is set...dishes carry simple and tasteful delicacies...the sweet smell of the countryside mixes with the flavours of the kitchen...sage, rosemary, and the smell of old stones, of the red earth and of the recent crops spread around gently. A sweet onion soup, "i malfatti" with mint flavour, white pizza with figs, e then dessert…a round of applause…this is for Lorena!!!…then Sergio smiles…everybody toasts, for those who just arrived, and for those who will soon leave.”         

The evening meal can be served inside, before the fireplace, or outside under the wide porch on hot summer nights. During your staying you will be able to enjoy our mainly vegetarian traditional Tuscan meals prepared also with fresh ingredients from our organic farm. Staple items include vegetable soups, quiches, pizza, wood oven roasts once or twice at week as was the custom of our fathers peasants, home made pasta and home made desserts.           

An abundant buffet breakfast is served in the dining room, where you can enjoy, among other things, various cheeses, jam and honey of our production, plus home-made dessert.
